At the end of a long day at work a lonely young woman descends into a jazz club looking for her blind date organised through a dating agency. She finds herself in a weird and unwelcoming underworld where all eyes scrutinize her every move. When her date appears she is, as ever, disappointed – there is no chemistry between them. She soon nods off to sleep and dreams of visiting a ‘love agency’ where she spots the details of her date in the window…
If you can’t buy love and you can’t plan love, it will always take you by surprise.
Visually a tribute to Bob Fosse's 'Cabaret', Love For Sale is a short comic narrative played out to the suggestive lyrics of Cole Porter's famous song.
